This project consists of a commercial building and two residential buildings with shops on the ground floor, which are individually served by two underground floors and an underground car park. In the context of this project, GEOEG conducted a feasibility study to quantify the geothermal potential of the earth-contact structures supporting the considered building to serve as energy geostructures. Such study has specifically quantified the energy yield associated with the thermal activation of the slabs and retaining walls of the considered buildings to serve as energy carriers and storage means.
